Practical guidance for uploading a photograph, receiving your Editorial Review, and using your dedicated report page.
How Revelyum works
Upload one photograph and, if you wish, tell the editor what kind of feedback would be most useful. Revelyum prepares a complete Editorial Review focused on what the photograph communicates, what is already working, and where it may become stronger.
- Upload your image.
- Provide your name, email address, and any optional feedback request.
- Keep the dedicated processing page open or save its address.
- Return to the same page to view the completed report when it is ready.
What should I upload?
Choose the version of the photograph you would genuinely like reviewed. A carefully prepared image gives the editor the clearest basis for useful feedback.
- Use JPEG or PNG format.
- Upload a reasonably high-resolution image.
- Avoid screenshots, heavily compressed copies, or images with interface elements around them.
- Submit only photographs you own or have permission to submit.
- Do not submit prohibited content or photographs containing identifiable minors.
The current upload form will display either No file chosen or the selected filename. That file-status display should remain visible before submission.
What happens next?
After a successful upload, Revelyum opens a dedicated page for that photograph. The page shows the current processing state and later displays the completed report without requiring you to submit the image again.
You may submit another photograph from the landing page while keeping the first report page open in a separate tab. Each photograph receives its own dedicated page.
Do not share the private report-page address publicly. Anyone who has that address may be able to access the corresponding report while it remains available.
What should I expect?
An Editorial Review is a considered professional opinion. It may include observations on visual impact, composition, light, colour, technique, atmosphere, meaning, and possible editing directions.
The review is not a competition result, a guarantee of commercial success, or a definitive judgement of artistic value. Reasonable people may disagree with an editorial opinion, and honest disagreement is welcome.
If you requested specific feedback, that request helps guide the review but does not restrict the editor from discussing other important aspects of the photograph.
Using the completed report
Your report page brings together the submitted photograph, six persisted scores, the complete Editorial Review, Editorial Recommendations, and a feedback option.
- The Editorial Review remains readable, selectable, searchable, and printable.
- Editorial Recommendations are fully visible but may be presented in protected editorial cards that discourage effortless copying.
- Small edit previews demonstrate direction and are not intended as finished, full-resolution files.
- Use the report as a practical companion for your next edit or future photographs.
How is my photograph handled?
Your photograph is processed to prepare the requested Editorial Review and operate the Revelyum service. You retain ownership of your photograph.
